New York, New York
This one comes from Luda. New York is coming through again with proper BD awareness. I wish I could say that of San Diego….umm hmm. I would love to know the back story on this one. I am guessing it involves the pursuit of spicy food. It appears we have an early 80’s Amercian 4 door er sompin’. It looks like a Chevy? Chrysler? The missing hubcap reveals a portal to the world of foul play. And that trunk is big enough for an obese family of four.
This one is going to sling shot us in to a new area of BD discourse: What qualifies a car as a Body Dumper as opposed to a classic car? Or what’s just a shitty late 80’s Amercian car? Clearly, it’s a complex concept. I enjoy the eagerness of some who send me pics of early 90’s Lincoln Town Cars. While that’s monster in its own way, those are really not proper Dumpers. Although, they may be in the future. Are you confused yet? Good. You should be. But It will all be explained in the next few weeks. Every Monday in March I will reveal comprehensive analysis about BD categorization. All relevant topics will be covered from time period cut offs to design requirements.
Ultimately, I would love you to do your own field work and send some pictures to me. You may think you have a captured a BD. I hope so. If not, I will gently nudge you in the right direction and hope for future success. Send all images to bodydumpers@gmail.com. Please include a name if you wish, location, and any piece of info about your interaction with the Body Dumper.
