When you think of a Body Dumper this is what you see. I’m not really in tune with car design. But I know until about the mid 1960’s American cars had a discernible shape. There seemed to be some squared edges creating a calming symmetry. This is the “smooshed” era. Everything changes here. The wheels now with no hubcaps look like black holes in outer space. They are worm holes to the world of foul play. There is a lovely dent pattern through out as well. But the psychological impact of the “smooshed” hood is overwhleming. Your reaction to the shape of the car is to run. This is sheet metal and big trunks. Imagine what was on the Billbord top 40 the day this car left the assembly line.
